LOCATION: grapes grown in the foothills of, and actually in, the Mount Lebanon mountain range, at 1,600-1,200 metres above sea level.

AREA: 19 acres.

SOIL AND SUBSOIL: chalky clay.


GRAPE VARIETIES: Obeidi 35%, Clairette 35%, Sauvignon Blanc 15%, Chardonnay 15%.

VINE AGE: 20 years on average.

VINIFICATION: Conducted at our Faqra winery. Grapes are hand-picked and conveyed in crates. Direct pressing with a pneumatic press, static settling, and fermentation in foudres (30 hl) and demi-muids.

PERSONALITY AND AGEING: A wine packed with fruit and freshness. The native Obeidi grape variety imparts a hint of easygoing eastern style.
