Areni Noir is an indigenous, ungrafted grape variety growing at 1250m altitude above sea level in volcanic soil.
The grapes used in Areni Noir Red come from a region that has a history of surviving harsh climate. The grapes have developed
a distinct character because of this and from the area’s coarse sedimentary soil.
The wine is complex yet delicate, slightly peppery in taste with rich aromas of sweet and tart berries.
Pairs well with barbequed meats and vegetables as well as hard cheeses.
